Softball Recap: Incarnate Word Academy Falcons vs. Incarnate Word Shamrocks
Incarnate Word Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell victim to a tough 11-1 defeat at the hands of the Incarnate Word Shamrocks.
Incarnate Word Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauren Gentry, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Incarnate Word Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Incarnate Word, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-15.
