Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Paris). They put the hurt on the Robertson County Black Devils with a sharp  17-4 win on Friday. With that  victory, the Greyhounds brought their scoring average up to 8  runs per game.
 Elijiah Young was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Young was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  RBI. That  hit was  his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Cameron Mays and  Easton Martin did most of the damage at the plate:  Mays  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 3-for-3, while  Martin  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Mays is  crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   snagged at least one every time he's  taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was  Will Wilson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Paris  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
Paris' win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-1. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Robertson County,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paris will square off against Fleming County at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Fleming County's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Paris' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Robertson County, they will face off against Calvary Christian at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The last three games Calvary Christian has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
