Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Platte County). They blew past the Ruskin Golden Eagles 70-6 on Friday. The Pirates' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Platte County's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Ruskin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
