Basketball Game Preview: Washington Rams vs. Copper Canyon Aztecs

The Washington Rams will take on the Copper Canyon Aztecs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Washington lost to Central at home by a 56-37 margin.

The losing side was boosted by AnyaLisa Carino, who posted 15 points.

Meanwhile, Copper Canyon can bid farewell to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 33-25 victory over Metro Tech. The Aztecs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Copper Canyon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Washington came up short against Copper Canyon in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 58-48. Can Washington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
