She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Spring got a massive performance out of Maleah Grounds, who fired off three stolen bases, four doubles, and three runs while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Grounds a new career-high in RBI (four). Hailey Jones-Calais was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Spring always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .839. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Benjamin Davis faced off against Eisenhower on Friday. The Falcons came up short against the Eagles, falling 17-2.
Benjamin Davis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Melanie Delgado, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That hit was Delgado's first of the season.
Spring's record is now 11-9. As for Benjamin Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
Benjamin Davis' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Spring hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .497. It's a different story for Benjamin Davis, though, as they've only averaged .192. Will they be able to contain Spring's hitters?
Spring got the 'W' when the teams last played back in February against Benjamin Davis by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
