Omar Acosta commands the offense for Wildcats win

Recap: Warner Wildcats vs. Borrego Springs Rams

A well-balanced attack led the Warner Wildcats over the Borrego Springs Rams in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Warner walked away with a 46-33 victory over Borrego Springs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Warner.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warner to victory, but perhaps none more so than Omar Acosta, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of David Calac, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christopher Alcaraz, who scored 17 points. That was a full 51.5% of Borrego Springs' points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Brody White, who scored 11 points.

Warner has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Borrego Springs, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warner will take on Calexico Mission at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Borrego Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Pasqual Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
