Softball Recap: Rockford Auburn Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rockford Auburn can now relate to. They fell just short of the DeKalb Barbs by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Rockford Auburn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KayKay Hudson, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Rockford Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for DeKalb, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-15.

As of now, neither Rockford Auburn nor the Barbs have any future games scheduled.
