Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton and Anderson County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Clinton had to settle for second. They fell to the Anderson County Mavericks 45-40. The Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Anderson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Looking ahead, Clinton is taking a road trip to square off against Union County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Anderson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
