Baseball Recap: Struthers Comes Up Short

Struthers lost against Hubbard back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 22-2 to the Eagles. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Struthers saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Chizmar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Struthers' loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Hubbard, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

While Struthers had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
