Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Brinlyn Smith stepped things up a notch to give Sanford the 'W'. Smith posted 11 points and six rebounds, which was good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she has now grabbed two or more steals in the last three games she's played.

Looking ahead, Smith and Sanford are taking a road trip to square off against Pagosa Springs at 5:30 p.m. on February 21st. The match will pit Smith up against the Pirates' star point guard Elizabeth Currier. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
