The Sultan Turks are taking a road trip to square off against the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sultan is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Cedarcrest just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 41-25 to the Red Wolves. The game marked the Turks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mount Vernon Christian entered their tilt with La Conner on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They claimed a resounding 63-34 win over the Braves. That's two games straight that the Hurricanes have won by exactly 29 points.

Mount Vernon Christian pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Sultan, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Sultan was taken down by Mount Vernon Christian 58-29 in their previous meeting back in February of 2020. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mount Vernon Christian's Kailey Faber, who posted 24 points.
