St. Raymond Boys lost to Monsignor Scanlan back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The St. Raymond Boys Ravens secured a 65-60 W over the Monsignor Scanlan Crusaders. Given the Ravens' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Crusaders are ranked 203rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Raymond Boys had a senior duo take command as Brandon Stores, Jr. dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards and Tai Turnage went 6 of 13 en route to 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The game was Stores, Jr.'s 14th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Zaire Johnson, who posted seven points.

The win made it two in a row for St. Raymond Boys and bumps their season record up to 11-9. As for Monsignor Scanlan, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10.
