Softball Recap: Las Lomas Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mt. Diablo on Tuesday, Las Lomas came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Berean Christian Eagles by a score of 11-10 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Paige Bamford was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs.

Las Lomas' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-8. As for Berean Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Las Lomas wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Washington on the 28th. As for Berean Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Campolindo on the 29th.
