Softball Recap: Onalaska Gets the Win

While Onalaska didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Rainier Mountaineers on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Loggers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Onalaska and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Rainier, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Onalaska is set to square off against their familiar foe Napavine at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th. Meanwhile, Rainier will take on rival Toledo at 3:00 p.m. on the 13th.
