Cartersville has gone 9-1 against Cass recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cartersville Hurricanes' homestand will continue as they prepare to take on the Cass Colonels at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Cartersville made easy work of Dalton and carried off a 13-1 victory.

Jordan Bishop was a standout: she fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Crenshaw, who went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Crenshaw wasn't the only one working in the home runs department: Cartersville lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
