Softball Recap: Fairview Has No Trouble Against Holly Pond

Fairview won the last time they faced Holly Pond and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fairview Aggies put the hurt on the Holly Pond Broncos with a sharp 17-3 win.

Ava Pruett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Benson, who went 2-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI.

The victory got Fairview back to even at 1-1.

Fairview and Holly Pond are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Fairview will face off against Southeastern at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Holly Pond, they will take on Locust Fork in a tournament on Friday.
