Volleyball Recap: Mendenhall Comes Up Short

After flying high against Richland last Tuesday, Mendenhall came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Raymond Rangers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Mendenhall's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-8. As for Raymond, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-8.

Coming up, Mendenhall will head out to square off against Morton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Raymond, they will face off against Forest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rangers are facing the Bearcats at the right time seeing as the Bearcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
