Baseball Recap: Friendship Comes Up Short

Friendship was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 32nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Andover Panthers, falling 17-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 back in April.

Friendship's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Andover, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

Looking ahead, Friendship will venture away from home to square off against Cuba-Rushford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Andover, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-8 victory against Hammondsport on the 16th.
