A Season-Best Effort from Rhett Slagle Leads Elizabethton over Northview Academy

On Friday, Elizabethton got the W thanks in part to Rhett Slagle playing the best football he has all season. Slagle threw for 284 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 21-for-21 passing, and also rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns.

Elizabethton's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Slagle and Elizabethton will venture away from home to take on Volunteer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
