Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Christian Academy Patriots vs. Polk County Christian Knights

The Clinton Christian Academy Patriots will head out on the road to square off against the Polk County Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clinton Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Clinton Christian Academy lost to Plaza Heights Christian Academy at home by a 50-33 margin. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Clara Hyke, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Wisniewski, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Polk County Christian). They claimed a resounding 57-18 win over Trinity Christian Academy. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Clinton Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Polk County Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
