Ellet entered their tilt with Nordonia on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Knights.

Rylie Sprouse spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on 12 hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Keyli Myers, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sicillia Albaugh, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ellet kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive matchups.

Ellet's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Nordonia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Ellet will venture away from home to square off against Highland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nordonia, they will host Wadsworth at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
