Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Worth County Tigers

Princeton and Worth County are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Princeton Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Worth County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Princeton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Cainsville 90-22 on Monday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Worth County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They breezed by Northeast Nodaway to the tune of 61-29 on Wednesday.

Princeton better focus on containing Karson Briner and Cole Ruby as the pair were huge in Worth County's win. Briner dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards, while Ruby posted 14 points and four steals. What's more, Briner also racked up three blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Hayden Sanders was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Worth County's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Princeton, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.
