Cienega is 10-0 against Buena since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Cienega Bobcats will host the Buena Colts at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Buena will be up against a hot Cienega squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. Cienega was the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Flowing Wells on Tuesday. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Caballeros are ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Buena had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 9-1 win.

Cienega's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five matchups. As for Buena, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Everything went Cienega's way against Buena when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Cienega made off with a 5-0 victory. Does Cienega have another victory up their sleeve, or will Buena turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
