West Springfield waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Minnechaug Regional Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Monday.

West Springfield not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Minnechaug Regional between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-17.

West Springfield pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Minnechaug Regional, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Springfield will challenge Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Minnechaug Regional, they will face off against Chicopee Comp at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
