On Tuesday, the Gulf Buccaneers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Mitchell Mustangs, taking the game 13-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Gulf didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Christianna McKinney, Alyssa Galto, and Alana Delaney picked up one apiece.

Gulf's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mitchell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Gulf has already played their next matchup, a 12-7 loss against River Ridge on the 21st. As for Mitchell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Anclote on the 21st.
