Basketball Game Preview: Baboquivari Warriors vs. Hayden Lobos

Having just played yesterday, the Baboquivari Warriors will get right back to it and host the Hayden Lobos at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Baboquivari is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering St. David just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 36-35 to the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Hayden hadn't done well against Ray recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Hayden enjoyed a cozy 27-13 win over Ray. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.

Baboquivari's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 14-8. As for Hayden, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Baboquivari was able to grind out a solid win over Hayden when the teams last played back in November of 2019, winning 49-40. Will Baboquivari repeat their success, or does Hayden have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
