Volleyball Recap: Pratt Takes a Loss

Pratt lost against Hesston on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greenbacks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Swathers. The Greenbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Pratt was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22.

Mica Stapleton paced Pratt's offense, picking up eight kills. Stapleton got some help from Emry Myers and her ten assists.

Hesston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jenna Nelson, who had 12 digs.

Pratt's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Hesston, their record is now 15-8.

Coincidentally, Pratt and Hesston will both be playing Hillsboro the next time they take the court. The Greenbacks will host the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Swathers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
