Baseball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity fell victim to Timber Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-3 last Tuesday.

Trinity has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-5-2 record this season. As for Timber Creek, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will welcome Keller at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Timber Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Colleyville Heritage at 12:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 2.2, the Panthers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
