Soccer Recap: Lake Worth Takes a Loss

If Lake Worth was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Perryton last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lake Worth Bullfrogs fell 3-1 to the Graham Steers on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Bullfrogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 509th, while the Steers are ranked 174th).

Lake Worth has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Graham, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Worth has already played their next match (against Burkburnett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Graham will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Eastern Hills at 8:00 p.m. Graham is facing Eastern Hills at the right time seeing as Eastern Hills is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
