Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sebastopol). They blew past the Union Yellowjackets 60-33 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sebastopol's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lakin Musgrove led the charge by putting up 17 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Mallee Wilson, who posted 12 points.

Sebastopol smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Union saw an underclassman step up: freshman Daltrey Roland had 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Roland. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Killen, who scored seven points and six rebounds.

Sebastopol's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Union, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Sebastopol wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-24 victory against McLaurin on the 22nd. As for Union, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-46 loss against Noxubee County on the 25th.
