Basketball Recap: Midwest Wins Going Away Against Guernsey-Sunrise

Midwest hadn't done well against Guernsey-Sunrise recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Everything went the Midwest Oilers' way against the Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings as the Midwest Oilers made off with a 41-17 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Oilers have posted against the Vikings since February 23, 2018.

The win got Midwest back to even at 2-2. As for Guernsey-Sunrise, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Midwest has already played their next game (against Casper Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Guernsey-Sunrise wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-26 victory against Banner County on the 14th.
