Softball Recap: Hendersonville Wins Going Away Against East Henderson

Hendersonville's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the East Henderson Eagles with a sharp 20-5 victory. With that win, the Bearcats brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Hendersonville got a massive performance out of Anna McFarling, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave McFarling a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mary Shelton, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hendersonville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Hendersonville's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for East Henderson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
