Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granville). They put the hurt on the Marion-Franklin Red Devils with a sharp 74-52 victory on Saturday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-19.

The win was the fourth in a row for Granville, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Marion-Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granville will head out to take on Hamilton Township at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Granville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hamilton Township likes a good challenge. As for Marion-Franklin, they will take on Briggs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
