Volleyball Preview: Elberta Warriors vs. Pace Patriots
The Elberta Warriors are on the road again on Monday to play the Pace Patriots at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with 15 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Elberta finally turned things around against Rain on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Red Raiders with a sharp 25-10 win.
Meanwhile, Pace waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crusaders , sneaking past 3-2.
Pace took Pensacola Catholic into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-14, 25-27, 15-10.
Elberta's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Pace, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
