Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Luperon). They put the hurt on the Bronx High School of Science Wolverines with a sharp 13-3 win on Friday. Luperon not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 18, 2024 (when they won 11-1).

Luperon's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Bronx High School of Science, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season.

Luperon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bronx High School of Science, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Inwood on the 17th.
