Volleyball Recap: Early County Comes Up Short

Early County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Sumter County Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11.

Early County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sumter County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

While Early County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
