Basketball Recap: Rogers Heritage Comes Up Short

Rogers Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Bentonville Tigers and fell 80-38. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-39 back in January.

Rogers Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Bentonville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Rogers Heritage and Bentonville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Rogers Heritage will take on Springdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 153 places (159 vs. 6). Similarly, Bentonville (ranked 26th) will meet Har-Ber (ranked fifth) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
