Baseball Game Preview: Lake Mary Prep Griffins vs. East Ridge Knights

The Lake Mary Prep Griffins are taking a road trip to face off against the East Ridge Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Mary Prep has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lake Mary Prep's offense. They lost 14-0 to Taylor on Tuesday. The Griffins have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, East Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Lake Minneola.

Haisum Osuna made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

East Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Lake Mary Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
