Baseball Recap: Tennyson Lancers vs. Arroyo Dons

Tennyson extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping their season record down to 3-10 in the process. They came up short against the Arroyo Dons, falling 29-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Wednesday.

As for Arroyo, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games.

For Arroyo's part, Christian Salling was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave Salling a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Michael Morgan was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
