Baseball Recap: Clarke County Takes a Loss

Clarke County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Bayshore Christian Eagles, falling 14-2.

DaMyon Horn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Clarke County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Bayshore Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

While Clarke County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
