Volleyball Game Preview: Santa Fe Raiders vs. Williston Red Devils

The Santa Fe Raiders will face off against the Williston Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Fe is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Santa Fe came up short against Buchholz and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Williston didn't have quite enough to beat Oak Hall on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

While Williston ultimately came up short, they really made Oak Hall work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 23-25, 24-26, 25-22, 15-9.

Williston's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Santa Fe, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Everything went Santa Fe's way against Williston when the teams last played back in August of 2016, as Santa Fe made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
