The victory was some much needed relief for the Seahawks as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, East Carteret lost 3-0 to Pamlico County on Thursday. The Mariners haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
