Softball Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello lost against Panguitch last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buckaroo lost 15-0 to the Bobcats. The Buckaroo have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Panguitch, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-3.

Looking ahead, Monticello will challenge Piute at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.85 runs per game on average), something the Buckaroo will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Panguitch, they will take on Wayne at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats are facing the Badgers at the right time seeing as the Badgers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
