Basketball Game Preview: Timnath Cubs vs. Mountain View Mountain Lions

The Timnath Cubs will head out on the road to face off against the Mountain View Mountain Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Timnath is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Last Friday, Timnath took their game with ease, bagging a 66-34 victory over Greeley Central. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mountain View beat Berthoud 65-53 on Friday.

Timnath better keep an eye on Cole Tonniges. He was instrumental in Mountain View's win, going 8 for 13 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Garland, who went 7 of 14 en route to 17 points and three steals.

Timnath has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.9 points per game. As for Mountain View, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
