Football Recap: Geneseo Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Geneseo and Morris squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Geneseo had to settle for second. They fell just short of Morris by a score of 28-26. That makes it the first time this season the Maple Leafs have let down their home crowd.

Caeden Curran produced another solid effort rushing for 238 yards and two TDs for Morris. Those 238 rushing yards gave Curran a new career-high. Owen Olson was in the mix too, providing Morris with one touchdown.

Geneseo's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Morris, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Geneseo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morris, they will face off against Montini Catholic at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Broncos' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so Morris' offense will have their work cut out for them.
