Softball Recap: Heppner/Ione Takes a Loss

Heppner/Ione entered their game against Vale on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mustangs fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 6-4.

Heppner/Ione's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Vale, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Heppner/Ione will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Weston-McEwen/Griswold at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th. Vale has already played their next contest (against Stanfield/Echo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
