Soccer Game Preview: Interlachen vs. Keystone Heights

Interlachen is 0-10 against Keystone Heights since November of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Interlachen Rams will look to defend their home pitch against the Keystone Heights Indians at 5:00 p.m. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Keystone Heights is hoping to do what Trenton couldn't on Thursday: put an end to Interlachen's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Interlachen's defense stepped up to hand Trenton a 3-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Keystone Heights made sure to put some goals up on the board against Trinity Catholic on Friday. They put the hurt on the Celtics with a sharp 8-1 win. Considering the Indians have won six games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Trinity Catholic from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Alyssa Townsend led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Interlachen has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six matches. As for Keystone Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4-2.
