Columbus entered their tilt with Hallettsville on Tuesday with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Brahmas. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Columbus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-21.

Columbus' win bumped their record up to 35-4. As for Hallettsville, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-17.
