Basketball Recap: Westinghouse Comes Up Short

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Westinghouse was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Taylor Allderdice Dragons and fell 78-29. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lukas Stead was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 11 on his way to 17 points for Taylor Allderdice. Stead has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Kossis, who went 6 of 9 en route to 12 points.

Westinghouse has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Taylor Allderdice, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westinghouse has already played their next contest (against Carrick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Taylor Allderdice has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Perry Traditional Academy.
