Basketball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

The Clinton Redwolves lost 82-57 to the Lenawee Christian Cougars on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Redwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 476th, while the Cougars are ranked 103rd).

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lenawee Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will face off against Ida at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lenawee Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Morenci at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lenawee Christian is facing Morenci at the right time seeing as Morenci is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
